Educational Requirements for Licensure in Kansas
As of May 4, 2010, the KSBTP does not require a 2-year degree to sit for licensure. However, the KSBTP does require that certain curriculum be met. As long as those classes are completed satisfactorily, the person is eligible to sit for the LSIT exam.

NEWS FLASH!! Kansas City Kansas Community College is now offering an AAS in Surveying Technology and a Certificate Program. Please visit www.kckcc.edu to create an account and submit a FREE admissions application. Select TEC and non-degree seeking to ensure the application is directed to the TEC Campus. The next step is to take the FREE placement exam. The exam is available Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 2:00pm.
