1. You must be 18 years of age by the start of the summer internship assignment and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 after each completed semester/term.

3. You must be a currently enrolled in a Technical College Program pursuing an Associate degree or a Junior or Senior pursing a Bachelors in a Land Surveying related field.
4. Planning to pursue a career in land surveying and pipeline operations.
Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline is a leading transporter of natural gas to America’s heartland, providing quality service since 1904.
This position offers a variety of opportunities including shadowing and assisting survey team employees to gain a better understanding of pipeline surveying and the pipeline industry.
Interns will typically support one or more experienced surveyors in meeting both departmental and corporate objectives. This individual will have the opportunity to become an instrumental part of the daily operations activities, including assisting in daily activities and other projects related to surveying. This individual will participate in the performance of assignments, spend time shadowing pipeline surveyors, and have unique assignments that support larger projects as well as experience the day-to-day workings of the survey team.
A taxable housing stipend may be provided to obtain housing near the Southern Star work location. Your role designation will be a flex worksite. Position will be primarily onsite in the field; however, flex schedule may allow for some remote work.
