Survey Crew Chief

Description:

Atlas Land Consulting (ALC) is looking an experienced full-time crew chief to lead a crew in our Kansas City, Kansas office. Most travel is limited to a 3 radius of the metro area but there are some overnight stays. ALC is looking for a dedicated employee to help grow our company, said employee will have great communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

·        Experience is boundary, as-built and construction staking
·        Experience in reading deeds, plans and producing field notes
·        Experience in using codes and line work
·        Experience in calculating for construction staking
·        Experience in determining controlling monuments
·        Experience with Civil 3d

Required Skills:

·        2+ years of surveying experience
·        Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions
·        Possession of a valid driver’s license
·        Experience using robotic total station, GPS and Carlson SurvCE
·        Ability to effectively communicate with clients in a professional manner
·        Must come to work 5 days a week (Monday – Friday) and work for the entire work day
·        Understanding and commitment to complete tasks in a timely manner
·        Mental toughness
