The Kansas Department of Transportation is hiring a Land Surveyor II in the NORTON district office.
Pay begins at $28.13/hour.
Job duties include supervising preliminary survey activities for the Bureau of Right of Way, reviewing deeds and plans relative to project sites, project inspections of survey operations and training personnel in surveying and basic mathematics.
Candidate must possess a Land Surveying License from the Kansas Board of Technical Professions and four years of supervisory or management experience.
Previous land surveying experience and knowledge of operating surveying equipment is preferred.
